Hello everyone!
I'd like to introduce you to a rather large project that was started around 2022. This map is a carefully built tribute to the architecture and atmosphere of the Polish People's Republic (PRL), designed to reflect the distinct style, layout, and character of that era. Most of the buildings are based on real-life structures, capturing the essence of post-war Polish urban planning and design.
The map is extensive in scale, featuring numerous districts, blocks, and landmarks that together create a believable and immersive environment. While the exterior detail is rich and faithful to the period, some buildings do not have fully developed interiors — this is due to the sheer number of structures and the time that would be required to complete them all. Despite this, the map remains an impressive and atmospheric recreation that offers plenty to explore.
Important Note: The map is in Polish, so it's worth having a translator running to fully understand signs, labels, and any contextual details scattered throughout the world.
Credits go to the team responsible for bringing this project to life — their dedication to authenticity and scale is evident in every street and square.
That's all I have to say. Have fun exploring!
