This is the first Pokémon region that introduced the original 151 Pokémon. My project aims to recreate the Third Generation Kanto map from FireRed and LeafGreen in Minecraft at a perfect scale, using a 1 tile = 3 blocks ratio for outdoor areas. Some adaptations are necessary, as the original map has connection inconsistencies — especially inside buildings and dungeons.
All major cities are now accessible — from Pallet Town to Indigo Plateau, the whole region is fully explorable! All buildings take inspiration from the HGSS style, and every route is complete and walkable. The Sevii Islands are also in place and properly isolated, waiting to be discovered. Main dungeons required for exploration are fully functional, and any area that normally requires HMs — like Strength — can be accessed without them for now.
Key Features:
1. Full Kanto region recreated at 1 tile = 3 blocks scale
2. All cities, routes, and islands are built and accessible
3. Buildings inspired by HGSS style
4. Main dungeons functional
5. Sevii Islands included and explorable
6. Ongoing development with regular updates
What's Not Done Yet:
== Interior dungeons inside buildings (e.g., Silph Co.) are still undecorated
== Post-game content is still under development
== HM mechanics — Cut, Strength, etc. — are not yet implemented
== Interior decoration for houses and landmarks post-Lavender is still missing
== Some mechanics — elevators, key doors, puzzles — are not fully implemented
Tips for Exploring:
1) Lower your render distance to 2–5 chunks for a more immersive, game-accurate viewing experience
2) Don't expect detailed decoration yet — the map is still a work in progress
3) The Sevii Islands are accessible — but you'll have to find them yourself. Hint: check out Cinnabar Island
4) Don't break the glass! Most city glass doors will open automatically as you approach them
I'm currently working on a system for automated sea travel to make the experience more fluid. Stay tuned for future updates.
