RULES:
Render distance - 6 chunks
Turn off music
Set graphics to Fancy (unless your PC can't handle it)
Preferably no shaders
No breaking blocks
You can place/remove torches but remember - you don't have many and it will get very dark.
Rule of thumb - stairs/ladder/steep descent=progression path. There are exceptions but not many
You may cheat if you (somehow) get stuck
You may explore the starting area in Creative but preferably after you complete the map.
