Project Zelda [Episode 1]

Minecraft #ProjectZelda is a full Zelda game inside "vanilla" [​1] Minecraft!That means this is no recreation of any existing Zelda game. Instead it has its own overworld, dungeon(s), story, custom mobs & NPCs, etc. I tried my very best to make this the best Zelda game possible inside Minecraft.Minecraft #ProjectZelda is also a map series. Every episode will contain one (main) island and one dungeon. For every episode I will add that new content to the already existing map, so in the end it is one big ocean with several different islands. You will be able to travel from one island to another freely! The story of my Zelda game will "connect" those episodes.This is the first episode of my map. It contains the main island "Lun Island" and one big dungeon, next to some small caves. On Lun Island the home village of Link (the player) is located. If you want to find out more about it... play the map! ;)

Before you download:
-Singleplayer only
-Give credits when sharing the map (using the link of this website)
-Do not use any mods/plugins (exception: Optifine + shader)
-Do not use any additional resource pack
-In case your game crashes after the intro:
  ● Try playing without Optifine
  ● If that doesn't work -> Download the map again and run "/function main:avoid_crash" in chat before entering a name
-It is recommended to use Optifine [​not mandatory, though!]
Recommendations for a better experience:
Use Optifine & Sildur's Vibrant Shader (High) [version 1.21 or newer]

This project means a lot to me! Since I have discovered Zelda series I wanted to make my own Zelda game. So, in 2014 I began building. And now after more than 5 years, more then 800 combined hours of work and several restarts of this project... it's finally done! :DAt least the first episode...

Most of the work during that time can't be seen when playing the map. As I said, I restarted the project several times. But without all the previous, "lost" work this finished map would not have been possible!
