

This is my very first horror map — FrightNight, designed for Minecraft 1.8 and above. While it’s not intended to be extremely scary, I had a lot of fun creating it, and I hope you enjoy playing it too!
The map is optimized to run smoothly with no lag, and you can experience it solo or with friends in multiplayer mode.

The latest ZIP file includes the resource pack, so you get the full experience.
How to install the map:
1. Extract the ZIP file to your desktop
2. Open the Start menu and click “Run”
3. Type %appdata% and press Enter
4. Open the saves folder
5. Copy the FrightNight folder into saves
How to install the resource pack:
1. Extract the ZIP file if you haven’t already
2. Open the Start menu and click “Run”
3. Type %appdata% and press Enter
4. Open the resourcepacks folder
5. Copy the FrightNight Resource Pack.zip file into resourcepacks
Rules:
— Do not break any blocks (though it’s not possible)
— No cheating or commands allowed
— Follow all rules and read all books carefully
— Enter every room before leaving an apartment or using elevators
— Search for hidden buttons, pressure plates, and levers
For developers interested in inspecting the map, press the “Developer-Mode” button at spawn and scroll once to open the developer menu.
