About Obbadale
Obbadale Is a fairly big survival map I have been working on, it 's a peninsula over 2000 blocks in width and length and includes most of the biomes in Minecraft. The map may look small when you hear its size and see the top down view image above but when you are in the world in survival it feels large, its a great server to play with friends! This map was made in world painter and was play tested by some of my friends who got pretty far in the game with the map, they even labelled areas of the map. I've tried to make the experience feel vanilla while also feeling ambitious.
Feel free the use this however you want, for a server or just for you to play on your own, I don't mind, just credit me and let me know. The whole map is surrounded by a ring of ocean and then it goes into vanilla terrain beyond that, so you are able to just casually stroll out of the map by boat so if you want to stop players from leaving the area you would have to add your own border.
There aren't any structures on the map so no villages or mineshafts but I did build a custom end portal room but throwing eyes of ender wont get you there. You can find clues to where it is starting with looking in a barrel beneath the chiselled stone brick block at spawn with hints to where the end portal might be.
I might make more maps like this in the future so stay tuned!
Funny map my friends made of Obbadale:
its pretty outdated (some stuff were named after memes relevant at the time)
