And, dudes, and dudettes, I present to you... the finale to the Enhanced trilogy, and the sequel to Enhanced II! This one is even better than the last one, with better puzzles, new characters, cooler powerups, a larger map size, and an overall longer experience! The rules and recommendations are inside the map, but there is one rule that I think I should put here... play the first and second maps before this one! There is lore, and you'll be confused if you play this third map before the first and second maps!
Okay, about the powerups. This time around, there are 8 powerups, 7 required, and one optional. There are also 3 items that you put inside the BIOUPGRADER that aren't powerups, two of which are required, and the other one isn't, but is highly recommended for first playthroughs.
The one optional powerup is actually a secret powerup, which is for the secret ending! After you beat the normal ending, you unlock a way to acces a non-canon secret ending that reveals more about the lore of the Enhanced trilogy! It will take some searching, though, and it won't be easy to find. However, I did include some instructions in the walkthrough, so feel free to use that to find it. There are also 10 secret emeralds hidden around the map, each of varying difficulty to find, from average difficulty to nearly impossible. They can be used indivually for a purpose that you'll have to figure out one you play the map, but if you get all 10 of them, you get an advancement! And yes, there are custom advancements. And a few custom sound effects, but that's unrelated.
I'd say that Enhanced III is quite long; it takes me around 2 hours to beat it, but, then again, I know all the puzzles, and I have a lot of muscle-memory from testing it so many times. It took the tester, guigui0246_2, around 4 hours to beat the map. It really depends on how good you are at puzzle maps, but don't expect a short map. Feel free to use the walkthrough if you get stuck.
As for inspirations, this map, and the series in general, took a lot of inspiration from the Legend of Zelda series by Nintendo. I took a little inspiration from the Expand series, too, but that mostly boils down to the map series inspiring me to make a map trilogy of my own. The gameplay between the two series is quite different. Still, the Expand series is quite good, and I would recommend that you play it.
Also, if you are a content creator or streamer, feel free to upload this map as a video or stream. It's free content for you and free publicity for me. You don't have to, though, it's just a suggestion. If you do make a video/stream on this map, then please comment about it with the link to the video/stream, and I'll go check it out! I'll also be actively looking for playthroughs on YouTube, so there's a good chance that I'll see it, even if you don't tell me.
Speaking of content creators, did you know I have a YouTube channel? It's the same name as my username here, PsyKat777. I upload Minecraft content, so please go check it out. This time around, we got a tester, guigui0246_2! And, yes, I did test the map as well, but he found so many bugs, some of which made the game unbeatable, so he's literally the reason that you can play the map. He also uploads content, so please go check him out as well, I couldn't have pulled this off without him. That's all I have to say, so have fun with the map!
