maim is a weird little Minecraft puzzle world that feels both abandoned and alive in unsettling ways. Built for the Mapmaker’s Bootcamp Mapjam 2025, it mixes puzzles with a touch of stealth and some light combat to keep you on your toes.
Across 5 handcrafted levels, you’ll face strange environments that don’t always play by the rules. Sometimes the answer is right in front of you, and sometimes you’ll need to backtrack to move forward. Experiment, explore, fail, and try again—each stage rewards curiosity and persistence.
For the full experience, crank your Brightness down to Moody and set Entity Distance to 100%+. The shadows and atmosphere are part of the challenge.
